Streamline production across your online and print media outputs with the addition of the Igemoe Print Media Module.
The Igemoe Print Media Module has been developed to enable print maps for use in brochures etc. to be produced from the same xml feed used to generate your online interactive maps. Using this module can significantly cut your costs and production time across both disciplines.
Maps destined for print require a higher resolution output to those used for on-screen viewing. Information which appears, say on mouse over, on an interactive map also needs to be formatted onto a single layer to work on brochure pages. These requirements are catered for through the Print Media Module.
This animated map highlights some of the differences between online and print displays. In the example above the viewers eye is drawn by the movement and their interest engaged through interactive POI’s which can be clicked to open further information.
The Print Media Module can be set up to output to print in any number of tailored styles. The examples below demonstrate a few variations that could be generated from the same XML itinerary used to create the interactive above.
